The location is perfect, most people end up here after their hike at Belfountain. It also seems to be the meeting space for bikers. There is limited seating inside and several tables (covered) outside.. besides serving bagels, pastries, ice cream, cold a& hot beverage, they also sell merchandise like honey & fudge etc I had the lemonade, Spinach & Feta Pastry & mango ice cream. All were good and reasonably priced. Overall, great place to check out when in the area.

July 6, 2024 - We planned a ride up to Forks of the Credit and decided to pop into Higher Ground Cafe for a quick lunch before heading back home. Parking at the site was packed so we had to park on the street, making sure not to block any resident driveway. The outdoor picnic tables were already occupied, but we found an unoccupied long table inside the cafe at the back. What luck until we saw that it was situated right in front of the 2 unisex washrooms. We were a group of 4 and this table could easily fit 8-10. There’s a mish-mash of patrons on this particular day, from cycling groups, motorcycle groups, tourists, and families. The place isn’t particularly large considering, the number of customers, so many are standing outside, by their car, or by their bikes. Ordering food is abit of a lineup but its worth the wait. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Wrap and it was delicious! They do not serve alcohol so set your expectations accordingly. They do sell ice cream!

Beautiful interior and lots of seating both inside and outside the building. Came for a stop to have some coffee with friends and there is a wide range of drinks available and even ice cream. I got a matcha latte and it tasted great and not watery at all. Will love to come back to get to try their other drinks or ice cream flavours.
